Does LugLess have a guarantee?
LugLess offers two different on-time guarantees which are available for purchase when you choose a support plan during the booking process. If your luggage does not arrive by the end of the day on the selected delivery date then you may be eligible for a LugLess Account Credit. Despite this guarantee, LugLess will be in no way responsible for any losses, personal or business related, arising from the delayed Item.
This guarantee says that if your luggage is shipped on the scheduled send date and does not arrive by the end of the day on the selected delivery date, LugLess will submit a claim with the carrier on your behalf. If the carrier approves the claim, you will receive a $10 LugLess Account Credit. The carrier may waive the guarantee if the luggage is not boxed.
This guarantee says that if your luggage is shipped on the scheduled send date and does not arrive by the end of the day on the selected delivery date, and the delay is not related to factors reasonably outside LugLess control, then you will receive a $20 LugLess Account Credit.
**Factors reasonably outside LugLess control include but are not limited to; shipments that include prohibited items, inadequately packaged or labeled items, security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks; natural disasters; incomplete or incorrect address information; delay or seizure by Customs or similar authority; severe weather; and/or failure of delivery equipment.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, FedEx and UPS have temporarily suspended their on-time guarantee for Ground shipments. We always recommend factoring in at least one extra transit day to ensure your luggage is ready to go when you need it.
